We are an emerging community of faith in Chicago that is

  • wholeheartedly celebrating our queer members and leaders and the beautiful diversity of humanity,
  • daily striving to dismantle racism, classism, misogyny, and all human hierarchies within ourselves, our community, our society, and the world,
  • thoughtfully exploring Christian theology and the riches of all traditions, and
  • especially committed to keeping sabbath, a countercultural practice that teaches us life is more than productivity.

Where the feast gathers

Our gatherings are like a living room, and sometimes they are one. Here’s where we gather:

  • Restoried Bookshop, 4613 N. Kedzie Ave, Chicago (map). Sundays at 10 a.m.
  • LaBagh Woods, for wild church outdoors on the last Sunday of each month.
  • Drake Gardens, 4643 N. Drake, for Gather Together community meals in Albany Park.
  • Ronora Lodge and Retreat Center in Watervliet, Michigan, for our annual retreat, November 20–22, 2026.

Please check our calendar for the most-updated information about where we’re gathering on a specific date.

What to expect

Our group is small and the atmosphere is like a living room. Each person is welcome to

  • participate in any parts of the service they wish, including by listening and thinking silently without speaking;
  • observe without partaking (for example, in the sharing of bread and cup);
  • do something with their hands—coloring affirming coloring book pages, crocheting, knitting, or similar crafts; and
  • dress casually—including pajamas.
